As the manufacturers of the MediHeat Calf Hutch Heater trusted by livestock owners across North America, we recognized the growing need for a unit designed to heat stalls and small enclosures during the cold winter months. Caframo has always maintained the belief that if there is an increasing need for a product that can make a customer's life simpler and easier, we will do what we can to bring it to market. We proudly announce that after years of innovation, engineering and listening closely to our customers, SaftiHeat, our NEW 120V linkable radiant heater, will be available as of Fall 2024! 

SaftiHeat provides gentle radiant heat directed to where it's needed most. The built-in side outlet enables the opportunity to link up to 5 heaters to extend the overall heating area or can be used as an extra outlet. With a miniature circuit breaker built into the unit's body, there is no risk of overloading the unit.

Certified to CSA/UL safety standards, featuring two-stage overheat protection, and constructed from ABS/ PC plastic, there is a reason why SaftiHeat has earned a name in reliability and durability. A safe and effective alternative to traditional heat lamps, SaftiHeat's two-stage overheat protection comprises an automatic reset thermostat and a one-time thermal fuse. The automatic reset thermostat controls the heat emitted by the unit. If the automatic reset thermostat fails to regulate the radiated heat, the one-time thermal fuse will permanently cut power to the unit to prevent any fire hazards. 

SaftiHeat's unique design shows a mastery of engineering and commitment to our customers to solve their heating needs in larger stalls, outbuildings, or barns. Each heater is equipped with a 250-watt heating source and a branch circuit. The branch circuit allows additional SaftiHeat heaters to be plugged in series (up to a maximum of 5 units) or another product requiring less than 10 amperes of current draw. Any heater in the series may be turned off without impacting the remaining units if needed.
