The 707 Chinook Fan offers the following CFM;
Low: 138 CFM
High: 210 CFM
Yes, you can! North America uses 60 HZ while Europe uses 50 HZ. The 707 Chinook Fan will work in Europe but will spin much slower.
No, the fan should not be used with a rheostat (light dimmers), which will cause the motor to overheat. This is a safety issue, and we do not recommend making any product alterations.
The housing of the unit is made from fire-resistant ABS plastic, and the blade is made from polyethylene.
Replacement blades are available to purchase for specific models of the 707 Chinook Fan, and it all depends on the power switch.
If you require a blade and the fan has a rocker switch or a round variable speed turn knob, our current 707 blades will fit.
If you require a blade and the fan has a round, push button switch – we no longer manufacture replacement blades for this model, as the motor shaft is larger than the current motor shaft used.
If you require a blade for an older 707 Chinook Fan, which features a chrome/metal U- shaped stand attached to a suction cup, our 747/757 blades will fit.
To replace the fan blade on the 707 Chinook, please gently pull the old blade from the motor shaft of the fan. Then, gently push the new blade onto the motor shaft, leaving a small space between the fan and the motor housing.
